First look at never-before-seen Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua belt for the winner of historic fight
The WBA’s ‘Super’ title differs to the historic black one currently held by Russian wrecking machine Murat Gassiev, and previously in the possession of both Brits.
Gassiev is the current owner of the sanctioning body’s ‘regular’ title, which he won last December against Kubrat Pulev and defended in July with a sixth-round TKO of Peter Kadiru.
And Fury is confident he will be the one draping the new belts over his shoulder come the end of their long-overdue dust-up.
He boasted in a relatively tame press conference: “We’ve come from the same country and dominated, been world champions and had our ups and downs.
“And now we fight on the world’s biggest stage. There is not a single fight that comes close to how big this fight is.
“I have the worst build of a heavyweight champion in history, I am bald, fat, ugly, gangly.
“He is carved in stone like an Olympian in marble BUT every time he’s touched on the chin he goes over.
“He is built like an Adonis and I am built like a blamange!
“But, as I always say, you cannot put muscles on a ‘tache so when I crack him on the jaw he is going straight over.
“This man is an Olympic champion and two-time heavyweight world champ, a poster boy for British boxing and a role model.
“I defend my arch rival to fans in the street.
“I tell people I meet in the street that if they could achieve ten per cent of what he has they would be doing f***ing well.
“People ask if it is too late? Is it f*** too late. It’s the perfect icing on the cake. I’m 38 and he’s nearly 37, so let’s go out there swinging.
“I am going to blast him out of there, it will be a gunfight at the O.K Corral.
