10 Nigerian Startups To Showcase Homegrown Innovations In Singapore
By Gabi Hibbatullah, Abuja
Ten Nigerian startups are set to showcase their innovations at the APAC Summit 2026 in Singapore on 30th October, seeking partnerships and opportunities to expand into the Asia-Pacific market.
Selected under the NIMENA programme, the startups will present solutions spanning financial technology, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, education, security and digital media to international businesses, investors and innovation partners.
The initiative, announced by Plug and Play APAC, aims to connect the founders with the wider Asia-Pacific innovation ecosystem and explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
The participating companies are Dojah, led by Oluwatobiloba Ololade; Sorair Technologies, led by Kunmi Oludoyi; Happaning, founded by Andrew ‘Ando’ Eniwumide; HealthStack, led by Dr Simpa Dania; i-Purvey, co-founded by Abdul Isiaq; Shipbubble, co-founded by Ayodeji Abon; Crop2Cash, co-founded by Seyi Alabi; Youverify, represented by Hakeem Akiode; TradeBuza, co-founded by Nonso Eze; and BeGenio Tech, founded by Dr Grace Togun Olugbodi.
Their solutions address practical challenges across different sectors.
Dojah and Youverify provide identity verification and compliance technology, while Crop2Cash helps smallholder farmers build financial identities to access credit. TradeBuza connects African agricultural producers to international markets.
In logistics and security, i-Purvey develops technology to anticipate disruptions in aviation and maritime operations; Shipbubble simplifies deliveries for online merchants; and Sorair deploys automated drone and camera systems to monitor industrial facilities.
HealthStack focuses on digital health systems; BeGenio Tech uses game-based learning to improve children’s mathematics skills; and Happaning develops technology that lets viewers choose camera angles during live events.
Their participation offers an opportunity to test the commercial potential of these solutions beyond Africa. However, success will depend on their ability to secure local partners, meet regulatory requirements and demonstrate that their products can compete in the Southeast Asian market.
The summit is expected to provide a platform for the founders to engage with prospective investors, businesses, and technology partners as they explore potential routes into the region. The APAC Summit 2026 will take place in Singapore on 30 October.
